People see Oade & they get their panties all wet. Well they are missing out. This is the capture to set the measuring stick at. It has more dynamic range than the board & leaves the Oade Shoeps somewhere in the cow tunnel. Excellent recording of a good show.

Good mix on the tape...Phil is high enough in the mix that you don't come away wishing he was there.

Amazing set list..three traditional set openers in the first set...Feel Like A Stanger set **closer**...not my favorite song but they ***crush*** this one.

@nd set has some nice surprises, too...the Space>Truckin' segue is effin' amazing. And the space has some really pretty parts (rare for them).

4 stars for performance, 5 for recording. I'd give the performance 5 stars but Jerry's voice is really weak (as it was throughout 1985). but his guitar rocks, and this is one of those nights when the band really clicks as one unit.... Remarkably good input from Bobby.

Must be played loud to appreciate.

jbsbmt, this is for you. If you happen to read this an wish to contact me, just use my full name (no underscores or nuttin') AT gmail.

As an aside, the SBD copy of this show isn't nearly as strong as this copy.
